Privacy policy.

Plain English. No tracking, no pixels, no nonsense. Last updated: 2026.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Lemonshark, a UK-based social media content studio. For any privacy questions, get in touch via the contact form.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you give us through the contact form on this site:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number (if you provide it)
  • The platforms you use
  • The message you send us
  • How you heard about us (if you tell us)

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers. The only third-party request this site makes is to Google Fonts to load the typefaces.

3. Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and decide if we're a fit to work together. That's it. The legal basis for this processing under UK GDPR is legitimate interest — you contacted us, and you expect a reply.

4. How long we keep it

If you become a client, your enquiry details are kept for the duration of our work together plus six years (UK accounting requirement).

If you don't become a client, your enquiry is kept for up to 12 months in case you come back to us, and then deleted.

5. Where it's stored

Your enquiry is stored in two places:

  • A protected JSON file on our UK-based VPS (web access denied at the server level).
  • An email notification sent to the studio inbox.

Both are protected by access controls and standard security practices. We do not transfer enquiry data outside the UK or EU.

6. Who we share it with

Nobody. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

If you become a client, we may use a small number of trusted tools to deliver the work — Google Workspace (Drive, Docs), Canva, and WhatsApp. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask what data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Ask us to stop processing it
  • Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

To exercise any of these rights, get in touch via the contact form and we'll respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This site sets no cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. The only persistent cookie is a session cookie used by our internal admin area, which is never set on the public site.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and post the change on this page. Substantive changes are summarised in plain English at the top.

Questions about how we use your data? Just ask.
